Back to School Project – Maiduguri

This is community children school (also known as Orphan Academy) located at Mary-Kuwait community, Maiduguri, Borno state, Nigeria.
The community children school is one among the few schools within the community with over 300 children (where 80% are orphans) and 8 volunteering teaching staff.

After renovating the school, feed for life team volunteered to teach at the school. See more pictures below.

Due to Little resources, we were not able to provide adequate desks and chairs for the children. Kindly contact us if you would like to donate to this cause.

Feed for Life Empowerment Programme

We fed over 2000 people (children and adults) at oko Oba destitute camp during the sallah period.
The residents of this camp comprises of children, youths, teenagers, elderly men and women who are physically challenged.

During the course of this project, We did not only fed them, we also taught them how to earn a living through the feed for life empowerment programme.
